Angelic Allure was created in Los Angeles, California, in the spring of 2006 by sisters Tanja and Natasa Plecas.  The two were born in the quaint city of Milwaukee, famously known as “A Great Place on a Great Lake.”

Early on, they spent most of their summers with their family in the picturesque former republic of Yugoslavia.  Their time overseas was always filled with a myriad of activities ranging from working on their grandparents’ farm to spending time at the Adriatic Sea.  As children, the sisters exhibited much natural ability and talent in the arts and received many accolades for their artwork throughout their education.

When it was time for furthering her education Tanja choose to stay in Wisconsin where she attended the University of Wisconsin at Madison and graduated with a degree in Psychology.  Natasa, never being too far away, joined her big sister at the famed University and graduated two years later with a degree in Communication Arts.

Upon graduation, Tanja moved to New York City, where she began a career in modeling.  She fortunately had the privilege to work with many of the industries leading fashion designers, which included Alberta Ferretti, Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren and Rebecca Taylor.  Modeling allowed her to travel the world and gave her the opportunity to live in France, Italy and Hong Kong.

When Natasa graduated she moved to Los Angeles, where she began her career working for VOGUE magazine’s nationally syndicated television special Trend Watch.  She currently produces webisodes for www.vogue.tv as well as syndicated shows for the major networks and specials for the Style Network.  Through hard work she climbed the corporate ladder and became a Coordinating Producer.  Her work has allowed her to travel the country and interview people in the industry.

Living on opposite coasts was difficult for the two sisters, so Tanja packed her bags and moved to Los Angeles.  Once reunited, the two often spoke of combining their knowledge of the fashion industry as well as their creative talents to form a company and in 2006 they did just that.

Angelic Allure uses a combination of semi-precious stones, chains, charms and ribbons to exemplify its vision of combining elegance and beauty to create timeless classy pieces.  Inspiration for the collections was drawn from the splendor found in both nature and various regions of the world.
